The Hornby Rivarossi HO Scale 2-Truck Heisler is a replica of one of the famous American geared steam locomotives. The Heisler was designed in 1891 and patented in 1892 by Charles L. Heisler. 850 were built with the last delivered in 1945. This detailed model features a flywheel-equipped drive mechanism, a five-pole skew-wound motor, working headlight, magnetic knuckle couplers and a 21-pin DCC interface for the addition of a decoder when you're ready. Like the prototype, it's ideal for handling curves slightly sharper than 15" radius. It'll look great hauling Rivarossi Skeleton Log Cars on your logging railroad.
