Description Switch Machine for use with Peco Streamline and Peco Setrack. The most reliable, discrete and simple method is to clip one of these directly to the underside of a Peco turnout. Requires a rectangular hole 40mm x 24mm.
CDU is recommended rather than optional. “Back in the day” accessory outputs from controllers were of a higher amperage, but nowadays they are commonly not more than 1 amp. The PL-10 probably needs at least 2 amps. Also, as the PL-10 is a solenoid motor operated by a passing contact switch, any prolonged period of being “on” will burn out the motor, so a CDU also acts a safety device ensuring that this does not happen.
