Driver's cab with hood as well as platform and rear hatch in honey yellow. Interior with steering wheel as well as chassis and cardan shaft in black. Front fenders with headlight strip and step on the cab are traffic gray. Black intermediate frame and cylinder. Silver rims. Side door handles and decorative stripes silver-plated. On the doors the lettering and company logo of Leonhard Weiss Bauunternehmen in white and black. Silver Magirus Deutz lettering with handles and three black buckles on the hood flanks. Radiator grille with silver printed Magirus logo. Silver trim on the bumper and headlights. Rear lights printed red. Injection molding with black exterior mirrors and dipsticks included.
Leonhard Weiss brought sand and bricks to the construction site
Leonhard Weiss - founded in 1900 - was a dynamic building contractor during the years of the Federal Republic's economic miracle and relied on the reliable air-cooled Magirus from Ulm. The corner hood of the 1960s is still considered a typical representative of that time when the agile building material transporters were on the road all day long to supply the construction site. The corner hood with a short wheelbase and tipper was one of the accelerators of the economic miracle in Germany - it provided sand and bricks. Just like Leonhard Weiss, the construction companies relied on this compact tipper truck and appreciated the air-cooled Howler from Ulm. WIKING has launched the Magirus corner hood with a new chassis and new platform in order to close a model gap in the lower weight class. The platform can of course be set up and the free-swinging rear bracket opens by itself.
