Wiking 52304 HO Container semi-trailer (MAN) "Sealand"

Generations of model railroaders know the Sealand containers all too well. Whether as a 20-foot or 40-foot version - with the boom in container logistics in the 1970s, more and more truck trains found their way into the container ports as a model. The MAN cab-over generation, which had just come off the production line at the time, was also one of the towing vehicles that was primarily used in container feeder traffic. Until now, the MAN front-control generation of those years was only available for local transport as a flatbed and box truck, but the model makers at WIKING are now adding the F7/F8 series with the single cab to the range as a two-axle tractor. To ensure that the series, which was launched in 1967, also appears contemporary, the traditional model makers have provided a new radiator grille - the new truck youngtimer has the letters "MAN Diesel" on the forehead, only the Büssing lion is a reminder of the previous merger of the two brands.
