Magirus cab as well as chassis, fenders and rims blue. Interior with iron gray seat and steering wheel. Flatbed and oil barrels black and blue. Front radiator grille printed in black and blue with a silver frame and Magirus Deutz logo. Door handles silver on both sides. “Scholven Chemie” lettering on the rear of the bed is blue on a white surface. Taillights printed carmine red.
Barrel freight from the district: round-hooded boat on Scholven duty
The Gelsenkirchen district gave the petrochemical site its name. From then on everyone knew that the Scholven company made products made from mineral oil. Bitumen tankers and trucks with typical barrel freight were also sent on their way. The Magirus S 3500 is the third Scholven model from the WIKING model making workshops to reach collectors' hands.
