Driver's cab sky blue, interior light gray. Chassis with cardan part and rims traffic red. Headlights silvered by hand. Radiator grille surface signal red with silver trim as well as MAN and Diesel lettering and Büssing logo. Front indicators signal orange. Fender edge designed in traffic red. Crane body with body block as well as cabin and winch, but also interior with steering wheel and gripping recess in sky blue. Platform traffic red.
The MAN truck with a maneuverable load veteran
The classic MAN truck suits this specialist well. The Fuchs excavator is used on the three-axle chassis. Especially in the construction boom of the 1960s, construction companies, but also municipalities, helped the tried and tested Fuchs excavator F 301 gain new mobility by quickly building it onto the robust chassis. At the time, the corner hood was considered indestructible, and many of the Fuchs crane trucks were still in use until the 1990s. The F 301 is considered the best-known Fuchs excavator today, with more than 15,000 units delivered over two decades. Looking back, the success may not be surprising, as the manufacturer continued to develop the excavator over the years of production and also offered numerous work facilities.
