With this three-axle truck, WIKING is adding a construction site classic to its range that visibly feels comfortable in its new, 87-fold miniaturized role. In fact, when introduced in 1973, the Volvo N10 was one of the popular chassis that ready-mix concrete companies ordered for their vehicle fleets. The Hauber with its two-tone drum looks beautifully contemporary, as it is reminiscent of the 1970s, when the traditional model makers miniaturized the model for the first time in order to delight Swedish model enthusiasts with models typical of the country. And for good reason: Sweden has been a solid and reliable export market for traditional model makers since the 1950s, which meant they were able to offer Swedish model and railway enthusiasts another full-scale “home model”. The fact that it is now rolling out into the program on a three-axle chassis made of new shapes shows once again how WIKING brings the combination of old and new shapes to perfection.
