The WIKING container fleet continues to grow – now with the Scania container semitrailer! After WIKING presented the latest generation of tank containers last year and met with the universal goodwill of collectors with its cutting-edge trailers, further container versions will now be updated in the near future. This time WIKING is constructing the standardized sea container with a 40' volume to scale. The doors are intended to be opened, with obligatory holders for container stackers. Another container chassis, the extendable S.FC 40' Sliding Boogie, modeled on Schmitz Cargobull, is also being added. WIKING has once again succeeded in transferring the contemporary logistics system to a scale of 1:87 and thus miniaturizing it with precision. With the premiere, WIKING is taking on the Mediterranean Shipping Company, MSC for short. MSC is considered one of the world's leading providers of global container shipping and is characterized by global services combined with local expertise. In addition, MSC offers a global network of road, rail and sea transport resources for the transport of the sandy yellow logistics boxes. The 40-foot container is pulled by the facelifted Scania R420 with the contours of the brand griffin on the sides of the driver's cab.
