Crane body with cabin, high boom bearing and engine cover as well as cable winch signal yellow, interior with black steering wheel. Chassis with cardan part and rims also black. Crane boom signal yellow with black-gray bucket. Wrecking ball black-gray. Front headlights silver-plated, rear lights printed red, indicators printed orange. Black company lettering “Fuchs 301” on the rear. Bonnet with black “Züblin” lettering.
When it came to hard things at Züblin
First the Unimog 411 in use at Züblin, now the Fuchs excavator is on the road in the same company colors. The F 301 is considered the best-known Fuchs excavator today, with more than 15,000 units delivered over two decades. Looking back, the success may not be surprising, as the manufacturer continued to develop the excavator over the years of production and also offered numerous work facilities. WIKING has dedicated itself to the prototype version of the F 301 built between 1959 and 1970 - clearly visible on the engine cover at the front right, which was intended for maintenance work on the prototype. What will please the collector: The Fuchs F 301 appears in Züblin colors with an excavator shovel and wrecking ball.
